Keep Austin Weird

I spent this past weekend visiting my grandparents and David in Austin. All of us had a really nice time. We dined at some of the favorite restaurants of UT students—Kerby Lane Café and Shady Grove. My favorite place that David took us to was a coffee shop on a big lake. It had this huge outdoor wrap around patio with old trees and an incredible view. Later that night, we went to a popular bar called the “Hole in the Wall” and it really was, but we still had a nice time listening to very loud music played by men in their 40’s, laughing, and kickin’ back a few drinks with my folks and David’s girlfriend, Katrina. Mom and us kids even had shots together. It sure was fun!
